The Javanese bench is an attractive bench with a fan shaped crest rail, cut out back and decorated with a traditional, intricate carving. It also has curved arms, a tooled front rail and lathe turned arm supports and front legs.
A particular design feature of the Jananese bench is its seat height which at 43.5cms is lower than most of our other teak garden benches which makes this bench particularly comfortable for those with shorter legs and is therefore very suitable for lounging rather than dining.

Made from A Grade Heartwood teak and carefully kiln dried to less than 14% to ensure stability and a long life just like all our teak garden furniture.
Precision made by machine for fit, incorporating traditional mortice and tenon joinery, dowel and adhesive for maximum strength. With chamfered legs and a plastic ferrule to prevent splitting and noise when placed on wood or concrete.
Please note these decorative teak benches must not be confused with inferior flat packed models made from less durable wood. This Imperial Bench is assembled in our Indonesian factory and delivered to you fully assembled that ensures quality, stability and durability.
