Originally designed in the 19th Century in oak, our teak Lutyens chair brings this classic piece of garden furniture up to the 20th Century by being made from A Grade Heartwood teak and carefully kiln dried to less than 14% to ensure stability and a long life just like all our teak garden furniture.
Precision made by machine for fit, incorporating traditional mortice and tenon joinery, dowel and adhesive for maximum strength. With chamfered legs and a plastic ferrule to prevent splitting and noise when placed on wood or concrete.
Please note these beautiful teak chairs must not be confused with inferior flat packed models made from less durable wood. This Lutyens chair is assembled in our Indonesian factory and delivered to you fully assembled which ensures quality, stability and durability.
